- Is there a ideal soil temp to get the most accurate reading ? Would 50f degrees be too cold ? Thanks
- As long the soil is not frozen you will get a good reading. The manufacture uses the term “growing soil temperature,” meaning if the soil is at a temperature where things can grow you will get an accurate reading.
- need instuction manual for Kel ph, and moisture meter

Bought my Kelway HB2 in 2000 for my Hydromuch Company. Used it for 6 years before I sold the company. Have used it for many years on food plots, Gardens and Flower Beds. Used it this morning working my Rose Beds and still works great. 18 years so far. The secret is cleaning it after every use and proper storage. Great Item
this is one of the most helpful instruments i have ever used..i am a landscaper and use it all the time....its great
Meter works as advertised, but the service from Kelway is spectacular. (Fast from Forestry Suppliers, too.) Recently purchased a 2nd Kelway Soil pH and Moisture Meter, since the 10 year old one I have had stopped functioning. On the literature accompanying the tester I found an address for repairs, so I mailed in the old one with a note and awaited a repair cost estimate. Within a week the meter was returned, postage paid, repaired and with a note that there was no charge!! How could that have been better?
