Made of heavy cardboard, covered with black skytogen embossed paper, and lined with white glaze paper. Cover overlaps neck for protection of specimens. Includes 1/4˝ white ethafoam. Inside Dimensions: 11-11/16˝ x 9-11/16˝ x 1-1/8˝.

Good quality box, but it arrived with the edges a bit bowed, making the lid come off very easily. I tried to bend it back into shape and it closes a little better now. Foam seems thick and sturdy, so hopefully it holds up well for pinning and re-pinning. I would recommend this product if you need a quick and easy short-term solution for storing specimens, but not as a long-term option.
I bought one of these to temporarily keep my insect collection in and it is a pretty sturdy box! The ethafoam at the bottom is thick and holds pins well.
