Container Seedling Dibble

Way better than a standard dibble bar - when you've got trees with a tight root plug! Root plugs with loose roots tend to have the roots point upwards as you put the root plug in the hole, and it takes some careful work to get them all pointed downward. Also, I've got a variety of soil types, and while most allow the bar to push a soil plug out the top, some soils get so tightly packed in the tip that I found I was making holes by compression rather than by removing a plug of soil, and roots aren't going to like that. That means that in some soil types I had to pound the bar after ever hole or two to get the compacted soil out of the tip, and each time takes about a half minute or so and is a read pain. Still, with the right soil it makes perfect holes and makes for very fast planting!
