Haglöf Forester DME 301 Cruiser Package

An updated version of the trusted measurement instrument, the DME 301 uses ultrasonic pulses to obtain distance readings, allowing you to walk 360° around the transponder and receive accurate measurements at the push of a button. Ideal for plot radius measurements, the DME 301 is accurate even through thick undergrowth and measures up to 60´/20m (with the 360° adapter) in feet/10ths or m/cm with an accuracy of ±1% under ideal conditions. The Reverse Prism function avoids issues associated with traditional prism cruising such as blocked views from the plot center. The BAF function lets you use the DME 301 on a sample point. Simply set the BAF factor from 0.0 to 999.9, and the DME 301 will calculate the minimum diameter of a tree to be included in your sample point. The DIST function alerts you when a predetermined distance limit is exceeded and is useful when inventorying circular sample plots where a fixed radius is applicable. Package includes the DME 301, transponder, plot staff/monopod, and 360° adapter. When ordering the transponder only, both 09710 and 09711 are required for 360° operation.
