The Silky BigBoy 2000 is an excellent saw that cuts well above its compact size. I do regular trail maintenance in my area, mainly lopping branches and clearing fallen trees several times each week. I use the BigBoy 2000 alongside a Katanaboy 500 to clear trunks of all sizes. The BigBoy 2000 is best for cuts under 10 inches or for finishing off large cuts where the space is too tight for the larger Katanaboy 500 saw. Silky blades are super shape and durable. They fold neatly and are lightweight, making them ideal for hiking/riding into remote locations. I have little need for a chainsaw now. The only deficiency in the BigBoy is that it does not come with a sheath.
