A good way to secure the atv in the back of the truck instead of a bunch of ratchet straps. Depending on the size of the atv and where the ball is located, it can cause the atv to sit further back on the tailgate. Not a big deal for smaller/lighter atvs, but heavier atvs could be an issues on the tailgate.
