Deluxe Shoulder Saver Harness

Have used this version of a backpack sprayer harness for 18 years and still prefer this, however, the straps throughout the unit have gotten narrower/smaller. This results in more stress throughout the entire harness system (stitching becoming loose, buckles failing, etc.). The padding in the shoulder harness and hip belt also seems to have been reduced, making them a little less comfortable for all day use. The key feature I appreciate is the material used for the hip belt and shoulder straps in non-absorbent (or at least the orange material). Herbicide spills and leaks do happen.

I have been using these harnesses professionally for over 10 years. They work exceptionally well however their weak point is the strapping from the belt to the base of the sprayer. Recently the width of this strapping has been reduced effectively reducing the life span of the product. In addition the stitching regularly comes undone on the belt. We now regularly replace this strapping and have it double stitched on the belt with an industrial sowing machine. Would be 5 stars if this issue was fixed.

So worth it. I have used this every day for the past 5 summers. It is very comfortable and does not absorb herbicide like some of the other harnesses.
