Onset® HOBO® U20 Water Level Logger
13’ Measurement Range
Description
Onset HOBO U20 Water Level Logger, 13´ Range
Ideal for recording water levels and temperatures in wells, streams, lakes, wetlands and tidal areas. The HOBO Water Level Logger is a high-accuracy, pressure-based water level recording device that operates as a standalone unit and does not rely on cumbersome vent tubes and desiccant packs for operation, simplifying deployment and eliminating many maintenance issues. Features an Optical/USB interface, a durable ceramic pressure sensor, and multiple-rate sampling for faster sampling at critical times such as when pumping starts or stops. Includes calibration certificate of accuracy versus NIST-traceable standards at three pressure points distributed through the range. Operation requires use of the HOBO Optic USB Base Station and HOBOware™ Pro software (each sold separately). The Optic USB Base Station is required for communications between the Logger and a PC. Plug the Optic Base Station into the USB port on a PC, and then plug the Logger into the Optic Base Station using the appropriate coupler (Couplers for all compatible loggers are included). A full Logger offloads in less than 30 seconds. HOBOware™ Pro Software provides easy conversion to accurate water level readings, fully compensated for barometric pressure, temperature and water density. An extra water level logger can be used for barometric compensation when needed (one barometric data set can be used with all water level loggers in an area). Provides ±0.075% full-scale accuracy (typical error) with a 13’ measurement range and 0.005’ resolution.
